Raffaello bonbons (Vegan, gluten free, dairy free, sugar free, soy free, egg free) recipe



Today I’ve been in the experimenting mood so I tried this recipe which came up with a very interesting taste. The bonbons are nice and fluffy and the almond inside gives them a surprise crunch.

Ingredients:

  • 125 grams fine desiccated coconut (make sure it doesn’t contain any preservatives) + extra for decorating
  • ½ can organic coconut cream
  • 2 tbs organic honey
  • 50-100 grams soaked and roasted Almonds (soak for 10+ hours then dry them in the oven on the lowest).


Directions:

  • Combine the coconut flakes with coconut cream and honey. Mix them all then leave it to sit for about 20 minutes to absorb all the liquid.
  • Then take about ½ tbs at a time and roll it into a ball.
  • Insert one almond then re-do the ball.
  • You need to be very careful as they break easily.
  • Repeat the operation until you finish the composition.
  • Then roll them one by one through the extra coconut flakes.
